At one time, this meant shielding them from natural predators: nature, animals, disease. While we still are required to do this, of course – there are far many more dangers lurking in our technological advanced world.
The internet is an amazing commodity that we have access to, but unfortunately it is a cess pool of corruption and crime as well. Predators find their prey easier than ever these days – and it is not just children who fall victim to their evil.
