Information and information products have turned into one of the largest online markets and it is growing with extreme speed. We are living in the information age and we are all highly demanding information consumers if not addicts. The availability of information through the Internet when we need it has been the driver for this and today we literally have endless supply at our fingertips. Many will say that it is too much and that we have severe global information overload and that our brains are not able to cope with this. Having the same feeling sometimes I have to say that being able to find immediate solutions and answers to problems and dig into interests as needed is pretty nice. One of the significant developments we have seen over the last couple of years is the e-book tsunami and the very popular e-reader products like e.g the Amazon Kindle DX making it easy and convenient to read ebooks anywhere. There are thousands of ebooks available for free and while the information typically is available on web pages it is a lot more convenient to consume content which has been combined into a book.
