Typography is the design and use of typefaces as a means of communication. Typography encompasses everything from calligraphy through digital type and type on Web pages. It also includes type designers who create new letterforms as well as designers and calligraphers who use the letters as part of their designs. The arrangement of type involves the selection of typefaces, point size, line length, leading, tracking and kerning. I have tried to just replicate some typography artwork but I have found it to be one of the most painful area and also a lot more time consuming then I had thought of.
