Being a web developer is pretty hard: not only do you have to constantly keep up and learn new programming languages and techniques, but you also have to stay up to date with the latest trends in the area of web design and site usability.
Designing a website from scratch requires a lot of work and creative thinking, but the end result is worth it, as it is often much better than a bought, cookie-cutter design (even if it’s a customized one). This is especially true if you are a really good developer or you work in a team.
